One of the threads over at The Gun Thing talks about concealed carry revolvers. I started talking about mine over there. It’s the Smith and Wesson Model 60, the first revolver that Smith made in stainless steel. It is neither pinned nor recessed, and carries a two-inch barrel. It is altogether an excellent carry piece.
If a CCW permit holder moves outside of the county in which their permit was issued, the holder must notify the sheriff of the new jurisdiction within thirty days of the change of permanent residence. The permit holder must show proof of the new address to the sheriff of the new jurisdiction.

Sep 01, 2016 · County of Stanislaus, decided August 11, 2016, the California Court of Appeal, Fifth Appellate District, held that custodial deputies may lawfully carry concealed firearms while off duty without obtaining a CCW permit, and invalidated the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s policy of requiring all such custodial deputies to obtain a permit to carry in their off-duty hours.
